Leah is a British artist and an environmental activist.

She is becoming well known for her paintings of nature and endangered species. Her paintings are a combination of traditional oils but some are made up of a unique mixture of acrylic, paint, glue, chalks and clingfilm. What emerges in Leah’s paintings is a process of construction, deconstruction and finally reconstruction, visible through the textural layers, and resulting in some quite sculptural on a 2D surface.

The daughter of Rolling Stone and artist Ronnie Wood, Leah has been deeply exposed to the world of music and art since birth. Widely traveled, she is influenced by the natural world and its beauty and is driven to help in its preservation.

A graduate of Chelsea College of Art and Design, Leah has sold paintings and prints globally. Recently (2023) exhibiting at the Linley Gallery in London, Leah is represented by Bloomfield Art. Previous shows include West Contemporary’s pop-up The Devil’s Fuge in Covent Garden (2019) and curating and exhibiting in the NOW Exhibition in London (2020). Her work was also exhibited at the Queen’s Jubilee One Planet One Chance exhibition (2022). She was commissioned in 2018 by the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Hyde Park London to hand-paint over 100 English butterflies on the walls of their Butterfly Terrace at the hotel. She has also recently (2023) completed a collaboration with Jodie Kidd and Manava where her work has been printed onto their sustainable fashion brand.

Currently working on an exhibition of flowers and garden landscapes, Leah is fulfilling her dream of showcasing the precious beauty of nature.
